The battery fire protection box from CEMO has been specially developed for high-risk everyday work involving hazardous materials. It is lined with non-flammable materials and has UN approval for the safe transportation of lithium batteries in packaging group II.
It is possible to charge batteries while safely stored inside the box. This is done by using our LithiumSafe™ Cable Entry Plug. This is a 240 minute fire-resistant certified plug that prevents fire penetration via the charging cable in case of thermal runaway. The cable of a power distribution unit is fed through the Cable Entry Plug.
This includes features such as fire suppression systems and weatherproofing, ensuring that the stored energy is safe and secure. Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) containers are a cost-effective and modular solution for storing and managing energy generated from renewable sources.
It is lined with non-flammable materials and has UN approval for the safe transportation of lithium batteries in packaging group II.
